Chiara Greenhalgh, Psychologist, Owner, CPS Health

Chiara Greenhalgh is a fully registered and practicing psychologist located in the remote Central Queensland town of Moranbah.

Chiara is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and general member of the International Association of Applied Neuroscience (IAAN). She uses various strategies from several evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy as well as Nero-psychoeducation to create and carry out customised therapy plans for each of her client’s specific needs.

Chiara has been refining and developing her knowledge and skills in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of anxiety disorders such as generalised anxiety disorder, social anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, phobia and PTSD with an increasing emphasis on the importance of education in understanding, managing and reducing anxiety.

Influenced by the climate of coal mining changes, Chiara and family have recently moved to the small mining town of Moranbah, Queensland where she continued her private practice ‘Confidential Psychology Services’. Chiara currently practices her therapy services by providing treatment and support to members of the community, patients of local GPs and company employees, as well as contributing helpful tips and insights to local magazines.
